Kiinis, Bahruven, and Raymond
A Yahgahn Family Fable
Told by Bahruven Ehkvenis, Trelli Ambassador to Earth
Now I can tell you of my recovery from despair. If you’ve not heard or read “Dusaana’s Story,” then do so before you read this one.
My recovery from the despair of losing Kiinis and having a child (Dusaana) with the same mental disease, called depression, finally started lifting when Dusaana was cured miraculously of her depression and she found love with Piicbahnis. I barely had time to celebrate this miracle when Dusaana and Piicbahnis, while I was working, found a Na’Voom Da droid named Aynor, and went on a quest to get him back home, for he had panicked and escaped in the escape pod of the ship (while in hyper drive) because he was being “chased” by a very ugly and scary-looking member of the Na’Voom Da Federation of Planets. He miraculously crashed on Traipah, instead of being sucked into the lowest level of hyperspace, Vorsht space.
While they were looking for the nearest city with a spaceport, I was on a satellite circling Earth, the Mir II. My best friend, Raymond Fuchella of Earth (another Ambassador), and I were having some troubles with a right wing group of Xazis that wanted to bring back the slavery of the Notingnez, Pogladoo, and Krimatin. We got into our own quest, trying to stop their plans.
While we were off saving the universe from that group of morons, Dusaana and the others had stumbled upon a new quest. Dusaana, knowing my fascination with the Eloquents, was thoughtful enough to follow a trail that suggested that the Eloquents were still around, hiding somewhere. Well, to make a long story short (that is an over-used expression, the Earthlings call it a cliché), Raymond and I stopped the bad guys, fell in love with each other, and my child and her lover discovered the lost civilization of the Eloquents. Aynor grew so fond of Traipah that he decided that he didn’t want to leave. Then, with my child and I both finding love, with a new friend, with the finding of a lost civilization, and the saving of the universe, that is how I overcame my despair. I feel like a character in a novel.
